Has anyone tried cooking or baking with CBD?

Asked 3 years ago

I came across a recipe that uses CBD and would love to try it out, but I'm not sure what to expect. Should I give it a go? I also heard about a potential CBD chilli sauce that sounds quite nice.

With the wide use and popularity of CBD, people are not just buying and regularly consuming but also getting creative at home. Many people have tried cooking or baking with CBD to maximise the benefits. Cooking with CBD oil could be a fun thing to do, but you must keep a few things in mind not to mess it up.

1) Bend with more natural fat

While cooking with CBD, you must know that CBD bends well with natural fat. As a result, you could use natural fat ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil or butter.

2) Refrain from heating too much

It's better to refrain from heating CBD oil because it might destroy the things that would be effective for your health. In short, CBD oil could be used as a product, which you put after finishing cooking, similar to a chilli sauce or tomato sauce. If you are making pizza, salad or any other delicious food, add the CBD oil at the end.

3) Check doses

This applies especially when you use full-spectrum CBD oil, and you need to keep an eye on your doses. As it contains THC, a high dose of CBD while cooking or baking could lead have an unwanted hangover. Even if you are using broad-spectrum CBD oil, you should be careful about doses. Try using light dose whether you are cooking or baking.
