There are suggestions that CBD has antioxidant and neuroprotective properties, although more studies still need to be carried out on this subject. Most scientists agree that CBD has neuroprotective properties but the challenge is finding out precisely how this happens.

Multiple sclerosis in itself is a disorder that isn't very clear to many persons. It doesn't affect every person in the same way. Symptoms of multiple sclerosis differ from person to person. Some persons do not even show any symptom at all.

If you want to use CBD for multiple sclerosis, I will advise you to see your doctor first. This is because CBD effect on multiple sclerosis is a topic that still needs more scientific research before we get an answer. However, some multiple sclerosis patients have returned positive results from using CBD, so we should not rule it out entirely. Talk to your doctor. If he/she gives you the go-ahead, you can get a CBD lotion or cream and apply it topically if you feel the stiffness in a specific area. If not, I'll advise you to take CBD orally. There is no dosage for CBD, just start with a low dose and increase gradually until you get your required result.

You can get a full spectrum CBD as some experts say it is the most potent CBD type. But if you will like to avoid THC totally, you can go for a broad spectrum or an isolate instead. Buy high-quality CBD products with good independent laboratory test results. Make sure you do your research thoroughly.

CBD should not be considered as a cure for multiple sclerosis. However, some experts say it has properties that can help reduce the symptoms. You can give it a try but you have to talk to your doctor first.
