Although CBD is legal in Cyprus, THC is not. For this reason, you are more likely to get CBD isolate and broad-spectrum CBD as they are "THC-free." Medical Cannabis in Cyprus
Medical cannabis has been legal in Cyprus since 2019 and can be grown, imported, exported, and possessed in Cyprus. Patients can get prescriptions from specialist physicians and purchase their supplies at pharmacies across the island. Unlike CBD products, medical cannabis can legally contain more than 0.2% THC.
Recreational Cannabis in Cyprus
To be clear, recreational marijuana/cannabis is classified as a Class B substance in Cyprus, and personal possession of up to 30gm is considered a misdemeanor. Hence, the Cyprus authorities will prosecute people who hold recreational cannabis.
