Can they lower blood pressure if I have high blood pressure? What about if I don't have high blood pressure?

In recent years, the popularity of maitake mushrooms is increasing, mainly because of their supposed therapeutic benefits.
Studies suggest that it may potentially manage hypertension and related issues. Beta-glucan, a major sugar component in maitake mushrooms, may help reduce the amount of Low-Density Lipoproteins (bad cholesterol).
Although the study was conducted on rats, these anti-hypertensive and anti-diabetic properties may manage high blood pressure in humans.
