From where do you get botanical extracts?
Asked 2 years ago
I've been reading about botanical extracts in a blog and became interested in them, so I turn to you all! Does anyone know from where people get botanical extracts? What flowers, herbs, etc.?

Botanical extracts are derived from certain plants: the flowers, leaves, bark, seeds, roots, twigs, or other plant parts can be used. They are also extracted from certain fruits. These plant materials have concentrated therapeutic properties. They can occur in powdered or liquid forms, and can be extracted through steam distillation, cold pressing, or oil infusions. The botanical is soaked in a liquid that can retriever certain beneficial parts of the plant.
