Do botanical extracts help with skincare?
Asked 2 years ago
I am interested in benefits that come from botanical extracts, as I've heard from a friend who works in the cosmetics industry that they help with skincare. Is this true?

Botanical extracts such as Shea Butter works wonders as a natural remedy for eczema. It is absorbed by the skin quite quickly, adding much needed moisture, and will act as a protective layer on your skins surface.
Mango seed butter can help to reduce the aging of skin cells, and thanks to its excellent emulsifying properties, oil and dirt particles can be easily washed off the skin.
Another great extract is Pumpkin Fruit. It is rich in antioxidants, namely vitamins A and C. They can refine and soothe skin, thus reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Beta-carotene will boost collagen production.
