Can I use CBD oil for scars?

A friend told me that CBD oil may help with my acne scars. I have recently finished my acne treatment medication, however, I am left with a lot of scars. So, is CBD oil for acne scars effective and is it true it reduces healing time?

Because CBD oil helps to reduce the spread of cell damage and can help with the regeneration of cells, it may help to reduce scarring and may help reduce healing time. It certainly will help smooth and soften the scar which will reduce the intensity of it even if it isn't getting rid of the scar tissue. It helps to decrease inflammation which helps particularly well with acne scarring.
