On an ingredients list of a CBD oil product I read that it includes botanical extracts. It's my first time seeing this as an ingredient, what exactly are these botanical extracts?

A botanical extract is derived from a plant directly. CBD oil is an extract of the hemp flower mixed with a carrier oil. This must be differentiated from a product that only contains botanical ingredients. In any case, CBD oil contains psychoactive agents like cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids that relieve any pain and inflammation.
