What is a CBD certificate of analysis (COA) and how do you read it?
Asked 4 years ago
I've seen a lot of information regarding lab tests and certificates of analysis (C.O.A) for CBD and I'm not quite sure how to read them. I am wanting to try it for a medical condition but was strongly advised that I first read the CBD product's certificate of analysis.

COA is a testing result from an independent laboratory to verify a CBD potency, ingredients, safety and absence of toxins. As long as the batch ID matches with what's on your box, you should concentrate more on the second session which carries the test information. This session will help you know the actual amount of each ingredient in the product you're buying.
Just be careful about using CBD to treat medical conditions without a doctor's approval as CBD does have the potential to thin your blood.
