Are there any benefits to taking mushrooms as a cancer patient or should it be avoided? Is there a specific dosage that can be recommended to achieve the best results? I've read that Maitake mushrooms help fight tumor growth because they increase white blood cell counts in cancer patients. Is this true?

Mushrooms have a lot of benefits in general, and Maitake mushrooms are in that category. While experimenting on mice, Maitake mushrooms have shown great results on tumors. While it keeps the tumor under control, it also increases cells to fight against it. With that being said, Maitake mushrooms can be good for cancer patients as well.
