How long is wood ear good for?
Asked 3 years ago
I harvested, dried, and bottled some wood ear fungus to add to my food. Does anyone here know how long the shelf life would be and how to tell if it is off (I don't want to die just yet)?

Wood Ear can give numerous health benefits if it is consumed regularly. Originated from Asia, it has a great flavour, making it an ideal ingredient to add to various cuisines. The shelf life of dried Wood ear mushroom in a refrigerator would be three to four days. Keep it covered in the fridge, and it should stay in a good edible condition.
