Can I use CBD to treat diabetes?
Asked 3 years ago
Hi, I have type 2 diabetes and have been taking medication for almost a year now. However, I am so tired of taking these because they make me feel so sick and although the doctor said it would go away as my body adjusts, it never did. I want to switch over to something that is more holistic and that won't make me feel so terrible. Could CBD be the answer?

Although research is ongoing, CBD seems to be tolerated by diabetics, but there may be side effects. CBD has anti-inflammatory properties that could help ease symptoms. Some research shows that CBD has the potential to reduce insulin resistance and moderate blood sugar levels in people with type 2 not taking insulin. Consult with your doctor.
