Can CBD oil increase collagen production in the skin?
Asked 2 years ago
I read somewhere that CBD oil is a good solution for reducing the appearance of cellulite on the body as it increases collagen production. Has anyone seen a reduced appearance of cellulite after using CBD oil?

CBD oil can help to increase collagen production according to a piece of research in 2015. Cellulite is primarily a result of fat distribution around connective tissue. Increased collagen helps to plump out the dimples. Some dermatologists prescribe retinol A to thicken the skin lessening the appearance of dimples. CBD oil is thought to help as well by reducing inflammation and as a result of its anti-oxidant properties. All of the information about improvement in cellulite is anecdotal and most of the treatments reviewed have CBD oil as one component in the active ingredients.
