Is CBD recommended for Restless Leg Syndrome?

Asked 3 years ago

My mother, who is in her early 60's, has been suffering this terrible illness, restless leg syndrome, for the past 30 years. She has tried all sorts, from magnesium tablets to physiotherapy, acupuncture, etc., with no success. I thought about introducing her to CBD oil, but I'm clueless. Does CBD Oil help for better sleep with restless leg syndrome? Help🙏

CBD has emerged as a natural therapy for various health issues, both mental illness as well as physical illness in the body. CBD's importance is unmatched while treating things like anxiety or depression. But CBD is also said to be effective in pain or skin problems, even in ADHD and Autism.

Restless Leg Syndrome or RLS is an irksome issue that tends to happen sometimes with growing age. There could be many reasons that trigger RLS in a human body, but it's hard to identify the particular one. While it could be seen due to family history, the most common reason is the lack of iron in the brain. As your mother is in her 60s, there could be several health issues and need to find the primary reason for RLS.

Now, the question is if RLS is curable through CBD products. Well, there is not enough evidence or research to back up the idea that CBD can cure RLS. However, many experts claim that CBD can beneficial for RLS patients, making the body more relaxed and helping you to have a good sleep every night, which isn't easy for people who are suffering from Restless Leg Syndrome.

CBD with THC can certainly help to sleep better, even with RLS. You just the correct doses and effective brands for it. Before switching to CBD, it is advisable to get a full medical check-up of your mother and have a chat with a doctor regarding it. The medical condition would help to determine if she can take high doses to get good sleep. Since it's such a serious issue, go for full-spectrum CBD oil, which works best in these scenarios. Just double-check the THC percentage, and keep it below 0.2%, as it is the legal dose in the United Kingdom. When it comes to dose, it would depend on a lot of factors but start from 25 to 30mg, and if you see improvement then increase the doses. Never cross 70mg does a day because it is the maximum recommended dose. But since she is over 60, it wouldn't be advisable to go for such a high dose. You can purchase CBD oil from many reputed brands such as Excite CBD Oil, MedTerra CBD oil, Just CBD Oil and many more.
