Can Chaga increase white and red blood cells in cancer patients?

Asked 3 years ago

I have just gone through radiation therapy but am not currently on any medication and am wanting something natural to help increase my red and white blood cell count. I have done some very basic research and have seen that Chaga can stimulate white blood cells, and therefore I'm wanting to get it as either a supplement or a tea. But is stimulating white blood cells the same as increasing them in cancer patients, and is this even possible? I haven't seen anything on Chaga and its effects on hemoglobin, however. Is it not something that Changa can help with?

While there isn't enough research to back whether Chaga mushrooms can increase white and red blood cells, the studies have shown that it can help in fighting Cancer. In test-tube results, Chaga mushrooms have shown positive results in suppressing cancer in the lungs, liver, colon, breast etc. The high level of the antioxidant triterpene in Chaga mushrooms could kill the dangerous cancer cells in the body.
