I suffer from severe allergic reactions and I have particularly sensitive skin. Can using Cordyceps mushrooms cause me to have allergic reactions? Are there any specific allergens in them?

Based on research so far, Cordyceps is believed to be safe with very few side effects and interactions with other drugs. However, there have been few cases where some persons reported adverse skin reactions after taking cordyceps. If you have sensitive skin, you should avoid cordyceps totally or see a doctor before taking it.
