Do CBD flowers contain THC?
Asked 4 years ago
I am concerned that if I smoke CBD flowers, I'll have THC detected on a urine test. Is this a valid concern? Do they contain THC?

In most countries, the legal threshold for CBD products to be classified as "THC-free" is a concentration of less than 1% (0.2% in the EU). Unfortunately, studies have shown that the labels on many unverified products are inaccurate and that you can actually have THC contents that are much higher than that.
Certain career paths (police, for example), will have a very low tolerance for drug tests. Your concern is definitely valid, especially because it's more difficult to test the concentration of either CBD or THC in dried flowers than in concentrated oils. Even in flowers grown specifically for hemp fibres that should have a THC content of less than 1%, you can never be sure 100% of the time.
If drug tests are a prominent concern for you then flowers are probably not your best bet. You'd have more luck with the concentrated oils that come from reputable companies.
