Is there a way to tell if you are about to have a panic attack?
Asked 3 years ago
I've never actually been able to tell when I'm about to have a panic attack, I usually just get them. It is awful not knowing because it's more difficult to deal with it that way. Are there any signs I can look out for, or any way of knowing if I'm about to have a panic attack? It would be nice to be prepared instead of taken by surprise.

Panic attack can trigger the anxiety level to the roof, and it can break you in a crunch situation. But there are several ways to tell when you have a panic attack. The first sign is that you would have shortness of breath and your heart would beat way faster than usual. You might sweat a lot, and your physical movements would not be normal. It can last from anywhere between 5 to 20 minutes.
