Does CBD interfere with Anti-IgE therapy (Omalizumab) for allergic asthma?
Asked 3 years ago
Does anyone know if CBD can interfere with Anti-IGE therapy (Xolair/ Omalizumab) for allergic asthma? I've heard that CBD oil can also benefit respiratory illnesses and lung diseases like asthma, so I was hoping to potentially add CBD into my life to give myself the best treatment possible. Does anyone know if this is a bad idea or not? Thanks.

There is no significant evidence that CBD affects Anti-IgE therapy for allergic asthma. As a matter of fact, many studies say that CBD could be beneficial in treating asthma. However, to be on the safe side, it is better to keep a few hours of gap between the consumption of Anti-IgE therapy medication and CBD dosage.
