Can CBD oil help to diminish wrinkles?

Hi. I have entered my 40's this year and have noticed deep wrinkles starting to form around my lips and eyes. I have heard about using CBD skincare, but I am curious to know if this is effective for improving the appearance of wrinkles. Has anyone tried it out and seen any results? Thanks in advance for the responses!

Our skin contains cannabinoid receptors as part of the endogenous cannabinoid receptor system (ECS). There is one study that highlights the antioxidant properties of CBD suggesting that it may improve the appearance of wrinkles but it is an animal study. There is also a suggestion that it might help with collagen production. However, there is no on-point research on humans. Anecdotal evidence is that CBD skincare products help with wrinkles but most of these have other active ingredients as well.
