Can CBD oil help with Tinnitus or make it worse?

Unfortunately, the science on the topic of CBD oil and tinnitus is very scarce, with different researchers advocating for both ends of the debate.

Some scientists claim that CBD oil does help tinnitus because of its interaction with the human body's cannabinoid receptors (which are believed to play a role in auditory perception), in addition to its potential anti-epileptic properties (as some believe tinnitus to be a form of sensory epilepsy).

However, others have found that exposing rats to cannabinoids after submitting them to acoustic trauma actually increased the number of rats exhibiting tinnitus-like symptoms.

Currently, there is no scientific evidence that CBD oil can help you with tinnitus. A number of researchers have claimed that CBD has indeed helped to deal with tinnitus. On the other hand, it has experimented on the rats. But for rats, the tinnitus was worsened after giving CBD. In my opinion, it would be better to look for other alternatives.
