Can sleep deprivation cause physical symptoms?
Asked 3 years ago
My body has been hurting, and I think it may be from the lack of sleep. Is it possible for lack of sleep to cause physical symptoms?

Sleep deprivation can cause similar physical symptoms like drinking too much alcohol. You might face nystagmus, which may result in having slurred speech and unusual eye movements. Another physical symptom is your hands might have uncontrollable tremors. Also, you might get sick easily, as your immunity system will be weakened, and you might take a long time to recover from sickness.
