Does CBD oil help with borderline personality disorder?
Asked 3 years ago
My daughter was recently diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and her symptoms are progressively getting worse. She's becoming a nightmare to live with but her mood stabilisers and antidepressants aren't working well enough. I've heard that CBD or hemp oil can help treat people who suffer from psychiatric disorders and I'm pretty much willing to try anything to help manage her BPD at this stage.

Borderline Personality Disorder isn't something you can cure with medications or CBD oil. The help of a psychiatrist might minimize the symptoms of a BPD patient. But CBD oil could make a positive influence in Borderline Personality Disorder by keeping the anxiety, depression, anger and even paranoia under control by producing more endocannabinoids in the body.

According to studies, CBD can help with borderline personality disorders by interacting with the CB1 and CB2 receptors of the Endocannabinoid system. You can give it a try after informing a doctor. When dosing, make sure you start with the lowest possible dose, then slowly increase until you find the suitable dose.
