How can I manage jet lag and maintain a healthy sleep schedule?
Asked 2 years ago
My cousin is planning a big family vacation next month, and it involves a lot of travelling by plane. I tend to struggle with jet lag, so I wanted to ask if anybody has some advice. How can I reduce the negative effects of jet lag? What do I do if I can't sleep after? I appreciate all the help.

Jet lag is normal when you travel across time zones. but to reduce the negative effects, you may;
- Try to adjust your sleep schedule gradually ahead of the trip to suit the new time zone you are heading to.
- Drink plenty of water before, during, and after the flight.
- Take short naps to reduce fatigue and keep you feeling sharp.
- Get under some natural light as soon as you get to your destination as it helps to reset your internal clock.
