What is the best recommended CBD oil for insomnia?

Asked 4 years ago

I struggle with insomnia and mostly only sleep for 2 - 4 hours in the evening. Could CBD oil could be the solution and if so, which one should I get?

Yes, CBD could possibly help you get a good night's sleep. Look for a CBD product from a reputable company. You can tell if it is a quality product by looking out for certain things. Check if the CBD product has been tested at an independent lab and if it has been extracted using a safe method. The CBD content should be listed on the label, and the CBD should come from naturally grown hemp.

There are several CBD products specifically created for insomnia, and for people who find it difficult to relax enough to fall asleep. Look out for CBD with added calming ingredients like melatonin (a natural hormone that promotes restful sleep), or camomile.

Among popular CBD products for insomnia are Medterra's Liposomal CBD capsules with melatonin. Also, try Night Time CBD Drops by Healthspan; CBD Sleep Drops by OTO, and Cannacares Night CBD Oil Drops.

Insomnia is a condition that can be caused by a variety of reasons including depression, anxiety, pain, restlessness, environmental changes etc. CBD may help to treat the cause of sickness, rather than treating insomnia directly. If you're struggling with sleeplessness, it is important you know the cause first.

After knowing the cause of your insomnia, you can now proceed to determine the amount of CBD oil that will be suitable for you. Factors to be considered in determining this includes your weight, body make-up, cause of insomnia etc. If taking CBD products for the first time, start with a smaller dose, then increase gradually with time until you find what works for you.

Research suggests that CBD can treat most of the root causes of insomnia. CBD possess both analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, and can also treat disorders like anxiety and depression.

However, in cases of insomnia, taking CBD may not just be enough. You must get close to those around you, that can help and support you along the way. You can reach out to a psychologist or any other professional who can help.
