I'm very sorry to hear that you are suffering from depression, but CBD may be able to bring you some relief. I must stress how important it is that you talk to a professional about your suicidal tendencies.
There is no universally agreed-upon dosage of CBD for depression, but the rule is to start low and go slow. When it comes to CBD, everyone reacts differently. Although it is a matter of trial and error, some CBD products come highly recommended for helping with depression. For example, Spruce 750mg CBD Oil.
To find the dosage that suits you, take 10mg a day(5mg twice a day), for a few days, and see how you feel before increasing the dosage. But I'm not a doctor and this is not medical advice! Please don't go off your meds, or change your healthcare routine without talking to your doctor.

As you already know, there is no universal dosage for CBD oil for depression. Dosage varies from person to person. There are certain factors that may affect the correct dosage of CBD oil for any individual. These factors may include body weight, body chemistry, the disorder you want to treat, the form in which CBD is taken etc.
To get the correct dose, check for the independent laboratory certificate of accuracy, and compare it to what you can find on the label on the bottle. After confirming the amount of CBD in the bottle, you should calculate the amount of CBD in each millilitre of the oil inside the bottle. The simple formula is to divide the amount of CBD (in milligramme) by the millilitres of CBD oil in the bottle. The result is the amount of CBD in every one millilitre of the bottle. This will give you a more accurate way to dose your CBD.
To get the suitable dosage for you, start with a low dosage (10mg-40mg per day), gradually increase it until you get your required result. You have stated that you have been having depression and suicidal thoughts. There is nothing to panic about, just see a mental health professional or a psychologist, or you can also open up to friends and family members you trust. This should go a long way. Also note that before taking CBD along with any other drug, you should see a doctor as CBD can affect the metabolism of some drugs.
