Does CBD have the same effect like Valium (DiazePam)?

I want to find a good natural alternative to valium and would like to know if I can use CBD oil instead. Is CBD like valium? Which one would you pick if it was CBD vs. Valium?

Clinical studies have suggested that CBD may exhibit anxiolytic effects like Valium or diazepam, but the research is new and needs to be studied further. If you're trying to decide between CBD vs Valium, avoid taking them simultaneously as there could be negative interactions between the two, but consider experimenting with either and seeing the results for yourself.
Everyone is different and responds to substances differently. Maybe you'll have more luck with CBD, and maybe Valium.

As CBD is a non-psychotomimetic compound, it can work like an anxiolytic. Therefore, it is safe to say that CBD can have a similar effect to Valium, depending on your dosage. However, take either of them separately, never at the same time. Taking both CBD and Valium together might cause side effects in the body.
