Does taking CBD oil make me cough?
Asked 3 years ago
I've heard that CBD oil can irritate the lungs and airways and lead to respiratory illnesses like asthma and COPD, but I'm not sure how true this is. I feel like the manner that you choose to take CBD matters. Like I don't see how it's possible that swallowing a CBD gummy could lead to coughing, but maybe there's something that I'm not seeing or understanding. So, anyway, can CBD oil cause breathing problems?

CBD products are not known to make you cough unless you are vaping. Terpenes in CBD vaping liquids can cause coughing and itching on your throat, and it could also happen to novice vapers. But it is unlikely to happen with CBD oil. For COPD, CBD oil is possibly the best and most effective way of taking CBD into your system.
