Is there a proper way to do it or doesn't it really matter? Can I do it incorrectly?

CBD can be consumed in several ways namely: 
Topical application
 Oral consumption,
Vaping
 sublingual consumption
Etc.
﻿The sublingual application involves placing the recommended number of drops under your tongue and holding them in contact with sublingual tissues for 60 to 90 minutes. This method may offer a direct absorption of CBD to your bloodstream, thus faster effects. 
Studies suggest that this method may have a higher absorption rate as the CBD does not undergo the digestion process which may filter out a considerable amount of CBD, forcing you to consume large volumes to feel the same effects.
