Can I take Cordyceps at night before bed to help me sleep with insomnia?
Asked 3 years ago
I've recently heard about Cordyceps and wanted to know if they would help me sleep. If so, how should I take them? Are there any side effects of Cordyceps relating to insomnia?

There is some debate about whether taking Cordyceps before bed will help you fall asleep if you suffer from insomnia or not, but there is some evidence to suggest that it can make your daytime and nighttime functions more efficient. By improving the flow of oxygenated blood around your body, better daytime functioning can help you expend energy and flow into a more functional nighttime routine.
In addition, Cordyceps are believed to make the body's "rest and repair" rejuvenation better, meaning that the quality and efficiency of your sleep could be better, rather than helping you fall asleep directly.

Cordyceps is a type of mushroom that can boost your energy and reduce anxiety. With that being said, it also helps to improve your blood flow in the body. Many studies say that by improving cellular function, Cordyceps certainly helps with sleep. However, CBD could be another great and safe option to help you sleep better every night.
