How does exercise impact the immune system during the winter?
Asked 2 years ago
I know exercising, in general, is good for immunity, and I love exercising as often as I can. I was wondering if there are any special benefits of doing so during winter, though. How does the body respond to exercising in a cold environment?

Exercise improves the circulation of white blood cells and other antibodies and can improve the body's immune response. During winter, regular exercise also improves the body's ability to adapt to the cold temperature. However, exercising in a cold environment leads to the redistribution of body heat to the core (through the redirection of blood flow).
