What plants are illegal to grow in the UK? Is it legal to grow hemp and CBD plants in the UK?

No, it is not illegal. You can grow hemp under certain conditions. You must be a commercial enterprise and obtain a license for the farm you wish to grow the hemp on. You have to state the type of seeds you will be planting and the THC content must be less than 0.2%.
