Which CBD Gummies are recommended for anxiety, and how much should I take?

Asked 3 years ago

I suffer from anxiety, and while I have tried the CBD oil itself, I find the flavor and texture vulgar. Therefore, I want to try gummies instead. Does anyone have any recommendations and know how much do I should take?

Research suggests that CBD products can be used to reduce symptoms of mental disorders including anxiety. There are a lot of CBD products out there. To get the best CBD product for you, you have to do your research.

CBD gummies provide an enjoyable way to take CBD because of their taste. They are also easier to move around with. However, Their disadvantage when compared to tincture oils is that they have less bioavailability. This is as a result of their slow rate of metabolism as they have to be broken down by the digestive system first.

Some CBD gummies have other ingredients that can help reduce anxiety, in addition to the other cannabinoid compounds. When getting CBD for anxiety, check if they contain substances like melatonin, lemon balm, chamomile. Melatonin can help you rest, reduce sleep disorders and anxiety. Lemon balm and chamomile also have anti-anxiety effects.

There has been a widespread of CBD products lately. Counterfeit products have also sprung up. This is why you have to make sure you are getting a high-quality product. Generally, CBD does not come at a cheap price, avoid CBD gummies with prices that are too good to be true. Also check for the certificate of accuracy by an independent laboratory, as some CBD companies do not state the right quantity of ingredients on their label. You can find the independent laboratory test result on the company's website or on the package the CBD gummy came in.

There are suggestions that THC may increase anxiety in some individuals. I will advise you to stay away from full-spectrum CBD. You can get isolates instead, as they are free from THC. There is no universal dosage for CBD. The dosage depends on a lot of factors like body chemistry, body weight, disorder to be treated etc. Start slowly, then increase slowly until you find a suitable dose.

Apart from taking CBD, other methods that can help you reduce anxiety includes reducing caffeine and alcohol intake, eating healthily and engaging in physical activities, seeking professional advice from a psychologist. Lastly, before taking CBD, you should see your doctor. If CBD is not suitable for you, your doctor can prescribe an anti-anxiety medication for you instead.
