How does staying active and hydrated impact joint pain with menopause?
Asked 2 years ago
I've started reading about menopause, as I'm approaching the age and want to prepare (as much as that's possible). One of the most common symptoms I've seen ladies talk about is joint pain. So, I was wondering if my lifestyle could make a difference? I've always been rather active, and I make sure to drink plenty of water.
Is there anything else I could do now to reduce the chances of joint pain in the future?

There are several lifestyle changes you can make to reduce the risk of joint pain when menopause sets in. Apart from staying active (moderate-to-light intensity exercises are great), you can adjust your diet, maintain body weight within acceptable limits, incorporate massage, practise breathing exercises, improve sleep quality, and use nutritional supplements.
