Is prolonged use of Cordyceps mushrooms safe?

Is it safe to use Cordyceps over long periods of time? Has there been any research conducted that would indicate that this is safe?

No, it isn't. Side effects of using any mushroom for a very long time include mood changes, disorganised thinking, and memory loss. A more serious side effect is persistent psychosis which can cause hallucinations and paranoia. The key is not to be addicted. Know when to stop. If you are using mushrooms for any condition, stop immediately symptoms begin to die off.
