Any recommendations for CBD oil to relax the muscles and help with back pain?
Asked 3 years ago
I had an intense spinal surgery because I fractured L1, L2, and L3. Therefore, I am looking for some oil to relax the muscles and help ease the pain. Are there suggestions?

Studies show that CBD may be able to reduce symptoms associated with pain. Recently, CBD has gained popularity as an alternative to pain relief medications. Some pain reliefs like opioids may cause addiction in individuals. Many persons now see CBD as a less addictive option for pain reliefs. CBD is also viewed by many as a supplement for muscle recovery. There is a long list of CBD to choose from, but how do you know which one to get to relax your muscles and for your back pain? I've given some guidelines below.
1. Always go for high-quality CBD: This is the first and most important step when looking for CBD to get. Always go for well reputable CBD companies. Avoid prices that are too good to be true, as there are many counterfeit CBD products out there.
2. Independent laboratory testing: This is another general step to take before shopping CBD. Don't just believe whatever you see on the labels of CBD products. Check an independent laboratory certificate of accuracy first. This will help you to know the amount of each ingredient present in the product. Companies with consistently good results are not afraid to show them off. You should be wary if you do not find any independent laboratory testing result on the company's website or the box the product came in.
3. method of use: CBD can be taken in several forms: as tinctures, creams and lotions, gummies etc. Each method has their advantage and disadvantage. Tincture provide high bioavailability than gummies, but gummies provide an easy way of taking CBD. Creams and lotions are better for immediate pain and muscle relaxation if the pain is felt in a certain area. We can't say for sure how much CBD penetrates the skin but individuals who use CBD topically for pain report faster relief. However, some experts say taking CBD orally provide relief for pain from the inside out.
4. Additional ingredients: Some CBD contains other ingredients in addition to the full spectrum, broad-spectrum or isolates. This is what differentiates CBD for pain from CBD for other disorders. CBD for pain is fortified with opiates like morphine, codeine etc; Terpenes like Eucalyptol and Bisabolol. If you are finding it difficult to sleep, you can also check for melatonin. Melatonin is the hormone that controls the sleep-wake cycle in humans.
If you follow these guidelines, you should be able to get a CBD product that can help. There is no recommended dosage for CBD. Start slowly then gradually increase until you find a suitable dose.
Lastly, you have to see a doctor before taking CBD, especially if you are currently on prescription medication. This is because CBD can interact with the metabolism of certain drugs negatively. See your doctor before taking any of the other steps I have mentioned.

CBD can be a life saver if you are suffering from any severe pain in the body. To deal with pain, it is better to go for full-spectrum CBD oil. There are many reputed full-spectrum CBD oil brands like Hempura full-spectrum oil, CBD Queen Full Spectrum CBD Oil, CBD Pure full-spectrum CBD oil, and Just CBD's full-spectrum oil.
