How long is a sleep cycle?
Asked 3 years ago
Is there a way to calculate how long your sleep cycle should be according to your age? Because I want to figure out the ideal sleep pattern that would allow me to function at my optimum.

When a person sleeps, during the course of the sleep, a sleep cycle takes place, which is key to giving energy the next day. First, the non REM sleep cycle takes place before going the REM phase in the sleep, and it gets repeated a total of 3-4 a night. Generally, a full sleep cycle takes around 90 minutes to 110 minutes in total.
