Which is the best recommended CBD product for Osteoarthritis?
Asked 3 years ago
My wife has been inflicted with Osteoarthritis. While we have tried all sorts of medications and currently using Amitriptyline for neuropathic pain and Co-Codamol, we are now looking for something that can help provide pain relief without any side effects. What are some of the best products you can suggest?

Some studies say that CBD can relieve the pain and reduce inflammation associated with arthritis. Osteoarthritis is a type of arthritis that causes stiffness in bones and joints.
There are a lot of CBD products out there. For arthritis, I will recommend you use CBD topically. Apply balms, salves, lotions, or creams on the area where you feel the pain. Although it isn't clear how well the compound passes through the skin, those who have used CBD topically for pain have reported almost immediate relief and better results. Gummies can be a fun way of taking CBD but reports say it takes a longer time to produce results.
Most CBD products for osteoarthritis are fortified with additives that can help reduce pain and inflammation. These additives include arnica oil, an ingredient that can relieve joint pain, swelling, and inflammation. Menthol and wintergreen oil have also shown to have pain-relieving properties.
Thirdly, make sure you're getting a high-quality CBD product. Avoid prices that are too good to be true. If you just want to try out CBD, and will not want to spend money on a large container, go for a highly potent small container. Do not compromise on quality. It's better to buy once than to buy twice. Before you get any CBD, check for independent laboratory test results. Companies with consistently good results are not afraid to show them. You can find these test results on their label or their website. The solution is to do your research, I have given you some guidelines that can help you make the right choice.
On dosing, start with a low dosage, then gradually increase until you find your required result. Please do not advise your wife to stop her current medications for CBD except advised by a doctor. Also, note that CBD can interfere with the metabolism of certain drugs negatively. See your doctor before taking any further steps.
