How do I de-stress before bedtime?
Asked 2 years ago
Hey all. Not to get into too many details, but I've been feeling unusually stressed out lately, and it's affecting my sleep. To clarify, it's not that bad during the day, but I can't seem to find a way to calm my anxiety before sleep. I tried some meditation, but it doesn't really help.
Does anybody have any ideas that could help me stop stressing before bed?

There are several things you can try to destress before bed. One such way is to perform light-to-moderate intensity exercises before going to bed. Exercise improves relaxation by reducing stress hormones and increasing the production of endorphins. Additionally, you can take a warm shower to relax your muscles. Also, avoid the stress that comes from late-night scrolling on your smartphone. Taken together, these can significantly reduce your stress before bedtime.
