Does using Lion's Mane have any benefits for reducing anxiety?

I have clinical anxiety and am looking for a sustainable way to combat it. I have read that some medicinal mushrooms have calming benefits and can help reduce the symptoms of various anxiety disorders. Is Lion's Mane one of them?

There are a few pieces of evidence that suggest that Lion's mane can help with mild anxiety
1. Animal research says Lion's mane extract can regenerate brain cells and improve the functioning of the hippocampus. Research believes that this can help reduce anxiety.
2. Another animal research has anti-inflammatory effects which can reduce chronic inflammation which is one of the causes of anxiety.
These are just animal studies. More research has to be done on humans to confirm this.
