Although you can take Lion's Mane before bed, most people recommend taking it in the morning due to its energizing effect, which is why many people take Lion's Mane powder with their coffee. There are some anti-stress properties to Lion's Mane that could help for insomnia.
The most truthful answer you can get is that everyone reacts differently and so you will need to put in some trial and error to see what works for you, so there is no "best time of day to take Lion's Mane". Always remember to give it at least a month before expecting to feel any noticeable changes.
